신유학적 가족관의 자연성과 인간성 : 『태극도설』과 『서명』을 중심으로
This essay starts from the fact that everyone can't help but be born by two-man relation. The Mode of Being of child in the view of biography is first Being-form endowed with human. This is a side of self-so-ing of family which is composed of father, mother, and child. This family does a role of a fundamental unit which construct and organize society outside of family on the basis of a side of family's self-so-ing. The family, for doing those role, must be the first field in which artificial values and customs made by human are educated. This is the human side opposed to biographical side of family. The family have double a side of self-so-ing and a side of human. Taijitushuo(『太極圖說』) and Ximing(『西銘』) which can be called the founder of new confucianism shows well. Taijitushuo shows that human is born from self-so-ing been earlier than man. And Ximing shows that the family lives in self-so-ing and human simultaneously.
The focus of daily life in the neo confucianism is family which have a side of self-so-ing and a side of human simultaneously. The filial piety and brotherly love(孝悌) as order of family which is located of the focus of daily life also have a side of self-so-ing and a side of human dually. Doing one's duty by one's parents which is origin of life is a side of self-so-ing, and doing one's duty and deference by one's adults of a village community and a nation as like to do one's duty by one's parents is a side of human. A side of the biographical self-so-ing justifies the filial piety, and A side of the social human enlarges and uses the filial piety.
I think that a view of family of confucianism which notes relationship between self-so-ing and human, finding the meaning of family in self-so-ing, and finding the filial piety from the source of humane life provides an opportunity of thinking about the meaning of family.
