개요
Morfino contends that Louis Althusser, in his Essays in Self-Criticism had recourse to Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza (1632-77) at least for some of his key concepts, in order to discover the philosophy of Karl Marx, and in order to have a clearer idea of those ten pages on the materialist dialectic that Marx never had to time to write. This, he says, is a long tradition in Marxist studies. His topics are Engels between Hegel and Spinoza, an ontology of relation, Lucretius and Spinoza, the primacy of the encounter over form, the syntax of violence between Hegel and Marx, and the many times of the multitude.
